For ULTIM, the databases are only another type of file. Like the other types of files, the databases can be defined in the dictionary or in the programs, and they can be handled through usual PROCESS statements. In addition, in a same job, standard files and all types of databases can be concurrently processed, without any restriction.

However, in order to make better use of the possibilities of each database type, particular functionalities or syntaxes are added for some types. In order to know which, please select the databases you wish in the list on the left.
